NCDOT – Onslow County
The North Carolina Department of Transportation recently awarded a project to Tri-State Utilities to rehab existing CMP storm sewer that was at the end of its service life by installing CIPP Liners in Onslow County. The project included 15”, 24”, 30”, and 48” CIPP Liners that were all air inverted and cured with steam. NCDOT officials as well as City of Jacksonville, NC engineers and project managers all met on site to get a better understanding of the larger diameter CIPP Lining process. This was the second contract that Josh Foley, Engineering Technician – NCDOT, had overseen with Tri-State Utilities and could not be more pleased with Charlie Vaughan, Vernon Smith, and entire CIPP Lining crew. According to Josh, “they answered any and all questions, everything was handled professionally, and cleaned up at the end of the day.”
