20 Years at Tri-State Utilities: Michael Floyd
Michael Floyd is the CCTV & Cleaning Superintendent at Tri-State Utilities. His duties include that of overseeing the CCTV inspections and cleaning of sanitary sewer and storm sewer drains. Mike’s employment began in 1995 as a CCTV truck helper. He rapidly advanced to CCTV Operator and was promoted to Foreman in 2000. In 2004, Mike was promoted once more to Superintendent and is now directly responsible for four inspection and cleaning crews that televise approximately 1,300,000 lf of pipe per year.
In Mike’s spare time, he coaches his son’s (Landon) little league baseball team of 9 – 10 year olds and serves as a Board Member of the Greenbrier Athletic Association.
“Not only is Mike a great employee but a good friend. We have supported each other personally and professionally all of our lives. Mike has completed some very interesting and challenging pipe inspection projects in his career and excels when others are ready to walk away. The past 20 years has flown by and we look forward to Mike remaining with Tri-State for the remainder of his working career.”
